Annie's Herb Kitchen is growing their seasoning salt range with the launch of the Butcher's Series – two new blends made for the BBQ: Butcher's Grill and Butcher's Hot Chick.
Where the original range of seasoning herb salts leans traditional and herbal, this series needed a different energy – smokier, with a bit of fun thrown in – for people who take their BBQ seriously. I know, right?
For the label design, I wanted to keep the same recognisable AHK identity while giving this range its own distinct personality on the shelf, with room to grow into a wider range in the future. Each label features a hand-drawn, funky BBQ illustration paired with a spice splash in a colour true to its seasoning – smoky charcoal tones for the Grill, fiery red for the Hot Chick.
The result is a look that reflects the joy and energy of seasoning your own BBQ, whether you've got a venison burger, ribeye steak, halloumi or courgette on the grill – all without losing the natural, honest character the Scottish brand is known for.
This project continues my ongoing collaboration with Annie's Herb Kitchen, helping their product range grow while keeping every new addition true to the brand's core values.
